About
Colleen Campbell Bozard is the President and Owner of ccbozard consulting, a firm that for over 25 years has specialized in assisting non-profit, community, philanthropic and government agencies strengthen their leadership and governance through services in board enrichment, strategic facilitation, and executive transitions. Colleen is a widely sought after trainer, facilitator, planner and change manager.
Prior to her consultancy, Colleen served as an Executive Director for three successful nonprofits, each in a different life cycle stage. She has served on numerous boards to help build organizational governance and capacity. Colleen combines over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit arena as an executive director, board member, and consultant to offer a unique perspective on the sector.
Colleen was a pioneer in the provision of Interim Executive Director services, helping a significant number of nonprofits successfully navigate leadership transitions since 1998 and has assisted many others in conducting a search for new leadership.
Colleen is a BoardSource Certified Governance Consultant, has worked as a consultant with both the Georgia and South Carolina nonprofit associations, and is a Certified Interim Executive Director. She was one of the primary authors of all four editions of the Together SC (formerly South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations) Guiding Principles and Best Practices to help build the capacity of nonprofits throughout South Carolina.
